lol. uh. i dont know if its good to spread this around... but yea... this was posted by the guy who works at our 7-11 store. lol

work is well.. i suppose, getting better. Thing is I don't really like working with my partner. Things would have been better if I'm working with my store manager all the time. In this particular store, there's only 3 of us, so there isn't much of a choice eh?

I learnt a few interesting stuffs bout Raffles students from the past 2 weeks @ work. I shall briefly list them out. Enjoy.

1) Raffles JC Student(s)* don't know how to cook cup noodles.
It's like this. 3 girls came into the store to get one cup noodle for one of the 3. Yea, nothing special. So they purchased the cup noodle first, and then proceeded to the hot water section. Next, they tore off THE ENTIRE COVER, added hot water, and IMMEDIATELY CAME TO ME AND SAID, 'the water is not hot enough it doesn't cook leh.. ' (excuse me, it's instant noodles but it's NOT THAT INSTANT) and followed by the most raffles-like question by another girl in the trio which goes.. 'can we put it in the microwave?' ok great actually i myself am not really sure if the cup noodle plastic can stand the microwave, so i told them, if you're sure it works, by all means go do it. and then, the last girl of the trio went 'can one! I did it before!'

ok so they went to the microwave and put the cup noodle into the microwave. moments later, they took it out, and i knew something must have happened and i kept quiet. they just immediately went out of the store with the cup noodle, without even getting chopsticks from me HAHA.

AND THEN, i proceeded to the microwave, opened it, and saw that the soup was spilled all over the microwave. Yea, and who clears the mess? Me lor.

Moral of the story - Never put your cup noodles into the microwave.

2) Raffles JC Student(s)* can't read instructions.
Title is self explanatory, so i guess i won't elaborate much on it. Put it simply, i've come across too many RJC students coming to me, asking me how to cook this and that and what button to press on the microwave etc.

READ THE DAMN INSTRUCTIONS IDIOTS.

3) Raffles Institution student(s)** don't know that a shelf is not for throwing rubbish.
Let's just say, RI kids really love 7-11. The store is EXTREMELY PACKED during their recess / breaks. So packed that you can't even see who paid and who haven't. It's that bad, the store is already small enough.

So anyway, RI kids love cup noodles and slurpee so much they eat them everyday I don't know when their hair will fall off and ants will invade their underwear. That's not my problem. My problem with them is, they throw ALL THEIR RUBBISH (cup noodle seasoning packets etc etc) on the shelf where they prepare their food and spill slurpee all over the floor during their attempt to make their money worth when dispensing slurpee.

all these, when the rubbish bin is just beside them.

4) Raffles JC guy(s)* are sissys.
Ok there was this guy who came to get a SUPER big gulp. He dispensed sprite into his gigantic cup, and all the way til the brim. Right before the water level hit the brim, an ant popped out of the dispenser. He immediately turned to me, gave his cb face, and said.
'WHY IS THERE AN ANT IN UR BIG GULP?'

before i even had the chance to say anything, he poured the whole cup away and tried again. It's just an ant dammit. JUST USE UR FINGER AND PICK IT OUT LA.

so what can i say about RAFFLES students?
1) they can only study.
2) they are spoilt nerds who can't cook cup noodles.
3) they are dependent nerds who can't rely on themselves such as reading simple instructions.
4) they show no concern to other people by littering all over the place.

well i thought i should just say this...

as most of you know, mdm salina got quite pissed yesterday. i think as the econs rep i should say it, even though i would still say it even if i wasn't.

even though our econs tutor didn't say we needed to do tutorial, i have told quite a few of you that it was quite understood that the tutorials should be done for tutorial.

much as you guys MAY dislike econs, it is still one of the subject we are taking for the a levels. so there shouldn't be any difference in the way you treat econs from other subjects (vice versa for me =P). you may dislike chem or physics or maths, but i'm sure many of you still do your work diligently for those subjects because you are afraid of not doing well for the a levels.

similarly, if you dislike econs, like the other subjects that you may dislike, we're still taking it for the a levels, and we should still work hard for it. even if you don't do the subject because you like it, at least do your best for it because you don't want to do badly for it. don't do it or copy it last minute because your afraid of the tutor.

i'm not asking you to put econs ahead of the rest of the other subjects we are taking, but at least put it on equal consideration or priority.

i might not have gotten as good results as many of you have for last year's promos... maybe because i was spending too much time on econs (and other stuff which i wasn't supposed to spend time on *ahemcomputergamesahem*) and not the other subjects, but i've decided that as much as i might not like the other subjects as much as econs, i still have to do it, because ultimately, we're still taking the a levels! yes, so cliche right, but after all, cliches are merely truths that have been repeated over and over again. oh, and yes, i've been trying my best to do all my other tutorials (myself).

so, take econs and all the other subjects seriously! sorry if i sound too serious or authoritarian, or like so econs-goodboy, but if we don't do our tutorials (applies to all subjects), we're not helping ourselves either. oh and by the way, i'm not specifically targeting anybody.

so let's work hard together for the a levels! gogo 6c! =D

and, remember to do your econs tutorial for tomorrow. =P

yay! some photos of the jms session that we had on friday! too bad some people had to miss it, or leave early. oh well =) anyway when they all came in, we all went in 1 circle and intro-ed ourselves!

after the introductions, we played the cheezels' game! its where two people compete to see how many cheezels they can stuff into their mouth. check out ngeekiang vs junior!

too bad ngeekiang lost... but zhengya did us proud by drawing with the junior! =D oh well this just shows that we eat less junk food than the juniors lol.

after that we kinda played blow wind blow! quite fun =D






of course the last two people left standing had to do a forfeit! and they are none other than angie and desmond! so they both ate the same pocky stick =D too bad i couldnt catch them doing it.


then of course, we celebrated our jan babies bday! =D two from the senior class, two from the junior class...so balanced. lol.

3. Party at Beany's house! Date not confirmed yet, so...likely to be next week, just for fun. =) She hasnt asked her parents so dont know if its possible. I might be able to bring a ps2 there! or zhong can bring xbox =)

4. Christmas party! We need a place to hold it =X Someone's house if you all are nice? haha. okay never mind. Havent decided on all the details, but we're going to have one!

rawr class chalet~

now that the chalet is over, we must really get down to thanking a few people! =D

firstly would be desdes! and his father and mother! haha... seriously, he organised all the chalet stuff even when PW OP was going on! and probably before that as well... so much time. and his father for going there so early to take inventory of all the items. i mean think about it! if he didnt take inventory while we all werent there, we'd surely lose lots of stuff haha.

then we must thank also the people who braced the heat and fires and ash, to barbecue food for us! on both nights! thanks to glen, jian zhi, jason, des, ngeekiang, boonkiat, keth... without them, we really would be eating nothing ... but thanks to them, we had the awesome chicken that boonkiat nicely prepared for us!

thirdly we have to thank nana! for the awesome creativity in changing the rice cooker into a fantastic cooker for everything else. otherwise we'd never get to eat the potatoes, sweet potatoes, beehoon bought by brent... =)

fourthly we must thank the people who brought the games! anqing n bk for bringing the super heavy mahjong sets, and anqing for bringing twister! and also zhong for bringing his xbox, without which the guys would never have been able to survive the night. haha. i mean...even girls like anqing angie caijing and cheryl were playing DOA and winning eleven xD.


yay. so many people to thank. wanting for bringing her speakers as well. in fact EVERYONE contributed so much to the class chalet to make it a success. even cheryl who only managed to turn up for a short while brought some EXTREMELY nice chicken pie for us. =)

so if i've missed you out...i apologise! dont feel sad! =x it might be because the gin is still having effects on me xD i learnt that i have extremely low tolerance of alcohol. xD
